As the Miami Design District matured, its website needed an update to stay culturally relevant. The redesign celebrates the range of creative expression found in the district, where art, culture, and innovation converge in endless possibility.

The goal was to create a bold brand experience for the website crafting the culture of tomorrow. From the start, I worked closely with Made Though NYC to understand their vision and ensure the new brand values translated effectively into the digital space. The result is a website where visitors can shop, discover, and engage with the cutting edge of art, culture, and fashion.

My role
Working alongside the Design Lead, I developed multiple concepts and layouts to create visually effective web pages and design system modules following the brand world Made Thought created. I set the visual design for desktop and mobile formats, created mockups for key pages, and executed all video and photo assets. Once the main pages were designed, I built out a design system to ensure consistency across the site, updating existing pages, and creating new ones to complete the project.

A digital destination as bold as the district

The site had to feel as alive and layered as the district itself. Made Thought's brand world gave us a strong foundation: bold typography, generous white space, and an editorial sensibility that lets the imagery and video do the heavy lifting. Each page section breathes differently, giving visitors the sense that they're discovering something rather than following a fixed path. The motion design reinforces this: fluid transitions and cinematic video heroes that make the experience feel closer to a cultural publication than a retail website. The result is a site that visitors don't just browse, they spend time in.
